Quilted Burping Shoulder Bib

Yesterday I had to think of something to make for my friend Anabela's baby shower today, make because right now I'm completely broke, also being a costumer I always have scrap fabric and supplies around.

Now of all strange places (yes whilst on the toilet) I was inspired by my husbands Star Wars Sandtrooper shoulder Pauldron, and decided to make a quilted shoulder bib for burping baby etc.

I basically traced out Steve's Pauldron to start making the pattern, shortened the length, and made it wider.

Unfortunately they aren't as well made as I would of liked, due to my shitty sewing machine needing a service. Also it took me some 10hrs to make the 2 of them because I had to stop every 10 mins or so due to pain in my bad back.

But in the end, they came out looking rather cute, and a couple of my friends think they are a great idea, might have to make a girly one for my brother as his partner is having a baby girl.
